Consultation has concluded
The City of Lafayette’s current Comprehensive Plan was originally developed in 1987, updated in 1997 and went through a major review and update in 2003. A technical update was completed in 2013. The City is currently going through the process, working with all of the stakeholder groups and the residents of Lafayette, to complete a new, overhauled Comprehensive Plan that will guide the City’s evolution through 2040.
This comprehensive planning process –Legacy Lafayette– will create a roadmap for the future of the community. The plan is an opportunity to see where we are, where we are heading, where we want to go, and how to get there.
The Legacy Lafayette Comprehensive Plan initiated community engagement in June 2019 utilizing a stand-alone website. To view information and interaction, please visit www.LegacyLafayette.org
