Consultation has concluded

The City of Lafayette is partnering with the Mile High Flood District to conduct the Lafayette Major Drainageway Plan (MDP) Study. It will evaluate major drainageways for approximately 5.65 square miles in the vicinity of Old Town Lafayette and will seek to identify flood hazards along the drainageways to develop alternatives to reduce those hazards.

The MDP will also look for opportunities to reduce street flooding, enhance aesthetics and recreation, and improve water quality. An important step will be to gather information from residents who live, work, or play in the 5.65 square mile area on where flooding is commonly occurring.

The study collected feedback in March 2021 from residents via an input map. View the comments collected on the input map.
