The City invites residents to help shape a Neighborhood Resilience Toolkit
The City of Lafayette is developing a Neighborhood Resilience Toolkit to help residents prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies such as wildfires and power outages. The toolkit will provide practical resources to strengthen neighborhood connections and support one another during emergencies.

The survey is available in English and Spanish, and participants can enter a raffle to receive a $100 gift basket featuring items from Lafayette businesses.
Please complete the survey by August 16.

How will the survey feedback be used?
The Neighborhood Resilience Toolkit will be developed directly based on community feedback. The toolkit will include planning guides, neighborhood connection activities, and other resources noted as important by the community. Climate change impacts are already being felt in the State of Colorado, which highlights the need to take collective action to limit future impacts.
Community resilience is the ability of a community to prepare for, respond to, and recover from stressful events. For example, heat events, wildfire, poor air quality, drought, flooding, prolonged power-outages and other climate-related impacts.
