City Administrator Finalists Announced

The Lafayette City Council is pleased to announce four finalists for the position of City Administrator. These candidates were selected from a pool of 39 applicants from 18 states and Canada. View candidate bios

In May 2023, Fritz Sprague resigned from his position as the Lafayette City Administrator. In its search to interview and hire for his replacement, City Council is providing opportunities for the community to be involved in this important process.

Finalist Meet-and-Greet Reception – Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023

5:30-6:30pm
Indian Peaks Golf Course Clubhouse | 2300 Indian Peaks Trail

Candidates will briefly introduce themselves and mingle with residents in attendance. Feedback cards will be available for those in attendance to complete and the input will be shared with City Council.

Public Interviews - Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023

4pm
City Council Chambers | 1290 S. Public Road

The four city administrator finalists will be interviewed by City Council during a public meeting on Nov. 16. Community members are invited to attend in person or watch online. The public session will be televised on Comcast Channel 8 and live-streamed on lafayetteco.gov/StreamingVideo and youtube.com/CityofLafayetteCo. Recorded versions of the interviews will also be available through the City’s Streaming Video and YouTube pages
